The Parisian Experience Weekend.
After two and a half weeks of doing the touristy thing (well, if you don't count all the post-graduate studies), we decided to live it up like the natives.
Saturday, we went to Printemps department store and shopped. It encompasses nine floors and three buildings! On the top floor of the women's building there is a terrace with a restaurant and a great view of the city.

We shopped... and actually made purchases, mainly gifts for the loved ones back in the States.
Sunday, after going to mass at St. Joseph, the English-speaking church, we went to Parc Monceau. Many local families taking their kids out and newlyweds getting photographed. The park has a lot of interesting things to look at, too: greek columns, statues, monuments to great writers (like Guy de Maupassant), tombs, even faux prehistoric ruins (made in the 18th century; man, this country's old)...
